Women's Bible Study
Welcome to the Largo-Seminole Women's Bible Study!
We will finish the book of Genesis this semester, looking at
the lives of Jacob and Joseph.
Our last day is May 8. We follow the regular schedule,
then conclude with a program and a luncheon.
If you are not yet a part of our study,
this might be a good time to check us out.
We meet Thursdays from 9:25 to 11:00 am.
We are nondenominational and child care is provided.
Largo-Seminole Women's Bible Study grew out of a home study and began formally in 1968. By 1984, so many women were coming from north Pinellas County, that our sister organization, Woman to Woman Bible Study, was established.
There are over 250 women of all ages and many denominations in the two groups today, drawing from Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, St Petersburg, the Gulf Beaches, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Countryside, representing a wide variety of backgrounds and experience.
We are committed to examination of the Word of God, friendship, and personal spiritual growth.
Our format is simple:
Each week you will receive a set of questions to work on at home, related to the topic or passage we are studying.
Then, in your small group, you will discuss your answers with other women.
Finally we all meet together for a short lecture to wrap up the discussion and hear additional insights.
